アーティスト加藤翼の参加型アートプロジェクト「引き興こし」。
大きなオブジェを多くの参加者とともに
かけ声そして力を合わせ「引き興こ」す。国内外20箇所以上で実現。
2011年秋には福島でがれきを使って地元の灯台を再現し皆で引き興した。

2013年　彼はアメリカへ渡りネイティブアメリカンと出会う。
「セージは少しずつ移動しながら収穫すること」
語られる痛ましい迫害の歴史。
「アメリカ政府は家族から子ども達を引き剥がした。同化政策である」

彼らの歴史と想いを背負ったアートプロジェクトが動き出す。

“Mitakuye Oyasin”
A phrase of the Native American Sioux people:
—Everything is Interconnected—

“Pull and Raise” (Hiki-okoshi) is a participatory art project by artist Tsubasa Kato. Together with many participants, he uses ropes, coordinated chants, and collective strength to pull and raise massive structures. This project has been realized in over 20 locations worldwide. In the autumn of 2011, he gathered local people in Fukushima to pull and raise a replica of a local lighthouse built from disaster debris.

In 2013, Kato traveled to the United States and encountered Native American communities.
“Harvest the sage while moving little by little, so it can regrow.”
He hears the painful history of their persecution.
“The U.S. government tore children away from their families. It was a policy of assimilation.”

An art project begins to move, carrying their history and their emotions on its shoulders.
“Let’s begin.”
“One, two, three!”
