Two children are recovering after they were hit by a car in the east Valley Sunday evening, Mesa first responders said.
A family was crossing the intersection near Broadway and Mesa Drive when the accident happened, according to Mesa fire Capt. Dean Morales.
Both children were taken to Maricopa County Hospital with minor injuries.
